Hari dalam semingguThe days of the week
The days of the week: Senin, Selasa, Rabu, Kamis, Jumat, Sabtu, Minggu. "hari" is often used in front: hari Senin. For "on a day", use "pada" — NOT "di" (di is for place): "pada hari Senin", not "di hari Senin". English speakers often wrongly use "di". Ask: "Hari ini hari apa?". Note: "Minggu" = Sunday, "minggu" (lowercase) = week. New words: hari, minggu, Senin, Selasa, Rabu, Kamis, Jumat, hari ini, besok, akhir pekan.

"pada" hari Senin (not "di")
Explanation
Day names: Senin, Selasa, Rabu, Kamis, Jumat, Sabtu, Minggu. Often with "hari" in front: hari Senin. Ask "Hari ini hari apa?", answer "Hari ini hari Rabu". For "on a day" (time), use "pada": "pada hari Senin". Do NOT use "di" — "di" is only for PLACE (di rumah = at home, di pasar = at the market). English speakers often get it wrong: "di hari Senin" ✗ → "pada hari Senin" ✓ (in casual speech "pada" may be dropped: "Senin saya kerja"). And "adalah" may be used with a noun: "Sabtu adalah akhir pekan".
