Describing daily activities. Indonesian does NOT change the verb and does NOT use "adalah" before a verb: just "saya bekerja", not "saya adalah bekerja" — English speakers translate "I am working" as "saya adalah bekerja", but "adalah" is only for a noun (saya adalah guru = I am a teacher). For habits, use the plain verb + "setiap hari / biasanya": "Saya bangun jam enam setiap hari". Chain activities with "lalu / kemudian". New words: bangun, tidur, pergi kerja, pulang, bekerja, memasak, biasanya, setiap hari, lalu, kemudian.

The plain verb (no "adalah")
Explanation
Indonesian verbs do not change by subject: "saya makan", "dia makan", "kami makan" — the same "makan". For habits, just use the plain verb: "Saya bangun jam enam", "Saya bekerja". IMPORTANT: "adalah" only links before a NOUN (saya ADALAH guru), NOT before a verb or adjective. English speakers often add "adalah" thinking of "I AM working" → "saya adalah bekerja" ✗ → "saya bekerja" ✓. "biasanya / setiap hari" mark habit. Chain with "lalu / kemudian".
