How many books? 有多少本书？
用 How many + 复数名词来问数量：How many books? — Three books。回答里也照样用数字 + 复数。第11课的 -s 规则在这里的问句和答句中都起作用。新词：how many, many, some, all, book, pen, bag, apple, dog, cat, thing。

- Emma Six books — with the -s. And how many pens? "Six books"——要加 -s。那笔有几支？

数数：How many...?
Explanation
问东西的数量时用 "How many + 复数名词?"：How many books? How many dogs do you have? 问句里名词也是复数。回答用数字 + 同样的复数名词：Three books. Two dogs。one 时用单数：one book, one dog。记住：很多语言不改变名词，但英语只要数量多于一，就总是加 -s。
