What's this? 这是什么？
学习 wh- 疑问词 what, when, why, how, which。疑问词放在句首：What's this? Why is he here? Which is your bag? 与 be 动词连用时，What's = What is 这样缩写。新词：what, when, why, how, which, phone, computer, water, house, door, window, new。

Explanation
疑问词放在句子最前面：what, when, why, how, which。与 be 动词常缩写：What's this?（= What is this?）Why is he here? How are you? Which is your bag? "what" 问事物，"when" 问时间，"why" 问原因，"how" 问方式或状态，"which" 从一组中挑一个。疑问词在前，然后 be，再然后其余部分——语序是固定的。

- What's this? — It's a phone. 这是什么？——是电话。
- Why is he here? — He is my brother. 他为什么在这里？——他是我兄弟。
