ขอตั๋วหน่อยครับ Un billet, s'il vous plaît
En ville et demander poliment. Vocabulaire : เมือง, สถานี, รถไฟฟ้า, ตั๋ว, แผนที่, ขอ, หน่อย, ช่วย, ทางเข้า, ห้องน้ำ. Grammaire clé : « ขอ + chose + หน่อย » pour demander quelque chose poliment — « ขอตั๋วหน่อยครับ » (un billet, s'il vous plaît), « ขอแผนที่หน่อยค่ะ ». ชีวิตในเมืองไทย La vie urbaine en Thaïlande
Les villes de Thaïlande, et Bangkok en particulier, sont des lieux qui ne dorment jamais — circulation dense, soleil brûlant, marchés animés, l'ancien et le nouveau côte à côte. Métro aérien, bus et motos
In Bangkok, the fastest way to escape the traffic is the "skytrain" — both the elevated BTS and the underground MRT: clean, cool and on time. You can buy a single-trip ticket or use a stored-value card. Buses are much cheaper but slower because of the traffic lights. For short distances, Thais often flag a "motorbike taxi" waiting at the street corner; the riders wear bright vests, and you agree the price before you get on. When you take the skytrain, remember to stand on the right on the escalator, and let people off before you get on.
Marchés et centres commerciaux côte à côte
What makes a Thai city special is that a glossy air-conditioned mall sits just a few steps from a street market. In the mall, prices are fixed on tags and you can pay by card. At a market or a roadside stall, you find fruit, curry-over-rice and cheap snacks, pay in cash, and at some places you can haggle a little. Street food is the heart of the city — pad thai, som tam, grilled chicken, eaten all day long. Try both, and you will understand the rhythm of the city.
Les bonnes manières en ville
Even though the city rushes, politeness still matters. Thai people end sentences with "ครับ" (male) or "ค่ะ" (female) to sound gentle, and "wai" — pressing the palms together — to greet or thank. To ask your way through a crowd, say "ขอโทษ" (excuse me) or "ขอทางหน่อย" (may I get through). Do not shout or show strong emotion in public, because "losing face" is a serious thing. The Thai smile always helps — even when stuck in traffic or lost, the word "ขอโทษ" and a smile usually get you to the right place.
En résumé : une ville thaïe va vite mais reste aimable. Connais le métro aérien et la moto-taxi, mange au centre commercial comme dans la rue, termine par « ครับ/ค่ะ » et garde le sourire — et tu traverseras une journée dans la Thaïlande urbaine sans encombre.
