Con voi to nhất The elephant is the biggest
We talk about nature and animals, and learn how to say "the most ...". Vocabulary: động vật, voi, thỏ, chim, khỉ, hổ, núi, biển, sông, cây, thiên nhiên, nguy hiểm. Key grammar: the superlative "adjective + nhất". Like "hơn" (ch26), the word "nhất" comes right AFTER the adjective: "to nhất" (the biggest), "cao nhất" (the tallest). To point to a group, add "trong + group": "to nhất trong các con vật" (the biggest of the animals). Note: English speakers often put "most/-est" BEFORE the adjective, so they tend to say "nhất to" ✗ → "to nhất" ✓. Tone corner: "nhất" carries the sắc tone (high, rising).

Để nói mức cao nhất — "…nhất" — hãy đặt "nhất" NGAY SAU tính từ, giống như "hơn": "to nhất" (lớn nhất), "cao nhất" (cao nhất), "nguy hiểm nhất". Muốn chỉ một nhóm, thêm "trong + nhóm" ở sau: "Con voi to nhất trong các con vật". Trật tự vẫn là: (chủ ngữ) + tính từ + "nhất" (+ "trong…"). Không cần "là" trước tính từ (nhớ ch20). In ch26 you learned the comparative: "adjective + hơn" ("cao hơn", taller).
