Key grammar: talk about the future with "sẽ + verb" — "Tôi sẽ đi" (I will go) — and invite someone with the final particle "nhé" — "Đi xem phim nhé?" (let's go to a movie, shall we?). English speakers, used to "Let's..." at the front, tend to drop "nhé"; but a natural invitation in Vietnamese ends with "nhé". Reply with "Được" (okay) or "Ừ, đi nhé" (yes, let's go). Future "sẽ" and the invitation "nhé"
Explanation
Two tools for making plans. One, the future: put "sẽ" before the verb — "Tôi sẽ đi" (I will go), "Cuối tuần tôi sẽ về quê" (this weekend I will go home). "Sẽ" sits right before the verb and nothing changes form. Two, the invitation: add the particle "nhé" at the END of the sentence for a gentle suggestion — "Đi xem phim nhé?" (let's go to a movie, shall we?), "Mình ăn tối cùng nhau nhé" (let's have dinner together). English speakers, used to putting "Let's" at the front, often forget "nhé" at the end — the sentence then sounds blunt, like an order. A natural invitation ends with "nhé". Reply with "Được" (okay) or "Ừ, đi nhé" (yes, let's go). To decline softly: "Xin lỗi, tôi bận" (sorry, I'm busy).
