Planning vocabulary: kế hoạch, cuối tuần, rảnh, bận, cùng, mời, sẽ, nhé, được, hẹn. Key grammar: talk about the future with "sẽ + verb" — "Tôi sẽ đi" (I will go) — and invite someone with the final particle "nhé" — "Đi xem phim nhé?" (let's go to a movie, shall we?). "Sẽ" sits right before the verb and nothing changes form. Two, the invitation: add the particle "nhé" at the END of the sentence for a gentle suggestion — "Đi xem phim nhé?" (let's go to a movie, shall we?), "Mình ăn tối cùng nhau nhé" (let's have dinner together). English speakers, used to putting "Let's" at the front, often forget "nhé" at the end — the sentence then sounds blunt, like an order. A natural invitation ends with "nhé". Reply with "Được" (okay) or "Ừ, đi nhé" (yes, let's go). To decline softly: "Xin lỗi, tôi bận" (sorry, I'm busy).
- Cuối tuần tôi sẽ đi Đà Lạt. This weekend I will go to Da Lat.
- Bạn có rảnh không? Đi cà phê nhé? Are you free? Let's go for coffee, shall we?
- Mình ăn tối cùng nhau nhé. Let's have dinner together.
