Trời sắp mưa rồi It's about to rain
Talking about what is about to happen. Vocabulary: sắp, rồi, kế hoạch, chuyến đi, nghỉ, chuẩn bị, sân bay, hành lý, sang năm, xong. Key grammar: "sắp + verb (+ rồi)" for the NEAR future, something about to happen very soon: "Trời sắp mưa rồi" (it's about to rain), "Tàu sắp đến rồi" (the train is about to arrive). In chapter 30 you learned "sẽ" for the future in general ("Ngày mai tôi sẽ đi" — tomorrow I will go); "sắp" is narrower — only for what is about to happen in a moment. "Rồi" at the end stresses that it is very close. English speakers tend to use "sẽ" even for something imminent: "Tàu sẽ đến" ✗ (for a train pulling in) → "Tàu sắp đến rồi" ✓.
