It hurts: … दुख्छ

Explanation

दुख्नु means "to ache". In Nepali the part that hurts is the subject of the sentence: टाउको दुख्छ, "the head aches". So दुख्छ is always the same: मेरो टाउको दुख्छ "my head hurts", हजुरआमाको खुट्टा दुख्छ "Grandma's leg hurts", तिम्रो पेट दुख्छ "your stomach hurts". For a second part, add पनि: टाउको दुख्छ, आँखा पनि दुख्छ "my head hurts, my eyes too".

Examples

  • टाṭāउuकोkoदुduख्छkhchha।My head hurts.
  • हhaजुjuरrआāमाmāकोkoखुkhuट्टाṭṭāदुduख्छkhchha।Grandma's leg hurts.
