Directions Petunjuk arah

Menanyakan dan memberi arah: left, right, straight, turn, corner, cross, far, road, map, way. Tata bahasa inti adalah kalimat perintah untuk arah — Go straight, Turn left, Turn right — plus "How do I get to …?". Kamu berkata "turn left", bukan "turn to left": kata kerja mengambil arah langsung, tanpa "to". Bahasa Korea menandai arah dengan partikel, jadi penutur Korea menambah "to" berlebih: "Turn to left" ✗ → "Turn left" ✓. Sudut pengucapan: "gh" bisu pada straight dan right, dan "corner".

  4. Minsu Oh, turn left. The bank is on the right. Oh, belok kiri. Bank ada di sebelah kanan.

How do I get to the station? — Bagaimana ke stasiun?

Giving directions: "Turn left" Memberi arah: "Turn left"

To give directions, use the plain verb (the imperative): Go straight. Turn left. Turn right. Cross the road. You say "turn left" and "turn right" with no "to" — the verb takes the direction directly. To say where something is, use "on the left / on the right": The bank is on the right. To ask, say "How do I get to …?": How do I get to the station? Korean marks the direction with a particle (like "-ro"), so Korean speakers add an extra "to" and say "Turn to left" — in English, drop it: Turn left.

Untuk memberi arah, pakai kata kerja polos (kalimat perintah): Go straight. Turn left. Turn right. Cross the road. Kamu berkata "turn left" dan "turn right" tanpa "to" — kata kerja mengambil arah langsung. Untuk mengatakan sesuatu ada di mana, pakai "on the left / on the right": The bank is on the right. Untuk bertanya, katakan "How do I get to …?": How do I get to the station? Bahasa Korea menandai arah dengan partikel (seperti "-ro"), jadi penutur Korea menambah "to" dan berkata "Turn to left" — dalam bahasa Inggris, hilangkan: Turn left.

  • Go straight and turn left. Lurus lalu belok kiri.
  • The bank is on the right. Bank ada di sebelah kanan.
  • Turn right at the corner. Belok kanan di sudut.
  • How do I get to the station? — Go straight, then turn left. Bagaimana ke stasiun? — Lurus, lalu belok kiri.
