Directions 道案内

Giving directions: "Turn left" 道案内：「Turn left」
To give directions, use the plain verb (the imperative): Go straight. Turn left. Turn right. Cross the road. You say "turn left" and "turn right" with no "to" — the verb takes the direction directly. To say where something is, use "on the left / on the right": The bank is on the right. To ask, say "How do I get to …?": How do I get to the station? Korean marks the direction with a particle (like "-ro"), so Korean speakers add an extra "to" and say "Turn to left" — in English, drop it: Turn left.
