คืนนี้ผมจะโทรหาคุณ I'll call you tonight
Phone and messages. Vocabulary: โทร, โทรศัพท์, หา, ข้อความ, ส่ง, รับสาย, ว่าง, ยุ่ง, ตอบ, เดี๋ยว. Key grammar: communication verbs need "หา" before the person you reach — "โทรหา + person" (call someone), "ส่งข้อความหา + person" (message someone). "หา" marks whom you are reaching out to; that person can be a pronoun (คุณ, เขา, เธอ): "ผมโทรหาคุณ" (I call you). Remember: "โทรคุณ" (without "หา") sounds incomplete — you must say "โทรหาคุณ". English speakers often drop "หา" because English "call you" has no preposition: "ผมจะโทรคุณ" ✗ → "ผมจะโทรหาคุณ" ✓. Tone corner: โทร (thoo, mid), หา (hǎa, rising), ส่ง (sòng, low).
