What hurts: body part + 痛
Explanation
To say what hurts, put the body part before 痛: 頭痛 "a headache", 肚痛 "a stomach ache". The person comes first: 我頭痛 "I have a headache". If it doesn't hurt, use 唔痛: 手同腳唔痛 "my arms and legs don't hurt". To ask, say 你邊度痛呀? "where does it hurt?" 痛 can take 好 like an adjective: 好痛 "it really hurts".
Examples
- 我頭痛。I have a headache.
- 佢肚痛,唔去返工。She has a stomach ache, so she isn't going to work.
- 我隻腳好痛。My foot really hurts.
