I go to work by bus私はバスで仕事に行きます
交通と移動について話す。語彙：bus, train, underground, car, bike, plane, taxi, station, ticket, catch, on foot。重要文法：交通手段を言うには「by」+ 乗り物を冠詞なしで使う —「by bus」「by car」「by train」「by plane」「by bike」。唯一の例外は歩き:「on foot」で「by foot」ではない。動詞 take や catch に「the」を付けることもできる:「I take the bus」「I catch the train at eight」。つまり「by」は冠詞なし、「take/catch」は「the」が要る。多くの言語に冠詞はないので学習者はそれを落とす:「I take bus」✗ →「I take the bus」✓（だが「by bus」✓、冠詞なし）。

Explanation
どうやって移動するかを言うには、英語に決まった言い方がある：「by」+ 手段、冠詞なし。「I go to work by bus.」「We travel by train / by car / by plane / by bike.」ここに「a」や「the」を付けない —「by bus」と言い「by a bus」とは言わない。唯一の例外は歩き:「on foot」で「by foot」ではない。動詞 take や catch で乗り物を話すこともでき、このときは「the」を使う:「I take the bus」「She catches the 8 o'clock train」「Let's get a taxi」。だから紛らわしい組は：by bus（冠詞なし）だが take the bus（「the」あり）。多くの言語に冠詞はないので、学習者はよく「the」を落とす:「I take bus every day」✗ →「I take the bus every day」✓。
