"Will": 會
Explanation
To say what you think is going to happen, put 會 before the verb: 聽日會落雨 "it's going to rain tomorrow". The negative is 唔會: 聽日唔會落雨 "it won't rain tomorrow". To ask, put 會 and 唔會 together, like 係唔係 (chapter 3): 聽日會唔會落雨? "will it rain tomorrow?". The answer is 會 or 唔會. A time word goes before 會: 聽日會凍 "it'll be cold tomorrow".
Examples
It'll be very warm tomorrow.
It won't rain today.
Will it be cold on Saturday?

"It looks like": 好似
Explanation
When what you see makes you guess, put 好似 in front: 好似會落雨 "it looks like it's going to rain". A whole clause follows 好似: 好似會落雨, 佢好似唔得閒 "she seems to be busy". 好似 is one word. It is not 好 "very" + 似, and it does not mean "good". The person can come first: Mike好似好凍 "Mike looks very cold".
Examples
It looks very cold outside.
Ah Ming seems to be busy.
This top looks very expensive.

What are typhoon signals?
When a tropical cyclone comes near Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Observatory issues typhoon signals, 風球. They run from No. 1 to No. 10, and each number means something different.
The Observatory and 風球
The signals come from the Hong Kong Observatory,
Until 2002 the Observatory issued the signals by hoisting them. That is why people still call them 風球 fung1 kau4.
The first warnings began in 1884: red drums, cones and balls hoisted on a mast in Tsim Sha Tsui. Numbered signals came in 1917.
Which number?
No. 1 is the standby signal: a tropical cyclone is within about 800 km of Hong Kong.
No. 3 is the strong wind signal.
No. 8 is the gale or storm signal. It comes in four directions: northwest, southwest, northeast, southeast.
No. 9 means the gale or storm is getting stronger. No. 10 is the hurricane signal.
Above No. 3
Once a signal above No. 3 is issued, government offices, schools, financial markets and most private businesses close, and ferries generally stop running.
That is what Ah Ming means by 八號風球,唔使返工: under signal No. 8 (八號風球 baat3 hou6 fung1 kau4), most offices really do close.
