Plans and appointments. Words: 계획 (plan), 파티 (party), 저녁 (evening/dinner), 주말 (weekend), 내일 (tomorrow), 밤 (night), 만나다 (to meet), 초대하다 (to invite), 놀다 (to hang out/play), 같이 (together). Key grammar: future plans are said with "verb + -(으)ㄹ 거예요" — 내일 공부할 거예요 (I will study tomorrow), 친구를 만날 거예요 (I will meet a friend). Use "-을 거예요" after a final consonant, "-ㄹ 거예요" after none. Do not leave the verb in the "-아/어요" present form. English speakers say "봐요 거예요" instead of "볼 거예요" ✗ → "볼 거예요" ✓. Invitations use "같이 …-(으)ㄹ까요?" — "같이 저녁 먹을까요?" (shall we have dinner together?). Explanation

Future actions (plans) are said with "verb stem + -(으)ㄹ 거예요". Use "-을 거예요" after a final consonant, "-ㄹ 거예요" after none: 먹다 → 먹을 거예요, 가다 → 갈 거예요, 보다 → 볼 거예요, 만나다 → 만날 거예요. "내일 친구를 만날 거예요" (I will meet a friend tomorrow), "주말에 영화를 볼 거예요" (I will watch a movie on the weekend). Important: do not leave the verb in the "-아/어요" present form and add "거예요" — "봐요 거예요" ✗ → "볼 거예요" ✓. To suggest doing something together, use "같이 …-(으)ㄹ까요?": "같이 저녁 먹을까요?" (shall we have dinner together?), "같이 갈까요?" (shall we go together?). The reply is "네, 좋아요!" or "같이 가요."
